Aston Martin has announced the official starting price of the AM 310 Vanquish in the United States, which has been set at 279, 995 USD.
The Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish, the successor of the DBS, is closer to its future customers by the day and after starting its life as a simple rumor and then being spied a couple of times, the British supercar has been officially revealed last week. The Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the company announcing its starting price over-seas. The British supercar features next generation VH architecture and each body panes has been made out of carbon fiber. The body shell torsional rigidity has been improved by over 25 percent, according to the manufacturer.
Power to the Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish is being provided by an upgraded 6.0 liter V12 engine which is producing a total output of 565 BHP and it has a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft). All this power is being sent to the wheels via a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission, which is helping the vehicle accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 183 mph. Prices start at $279,995.
