The Ingolstadt-based auto manufacturer has just announced the pricing details for the US specification 2017 Q7 large crossover, with the model starting from $54, 800 as it prepares to reach showrooms early in 2016.
The second generation large sport utility vehicle has been officially introduced to the worldwide audience back during the North American International Auto Show early this year and comes with a completely new, albeit evolutionary, design that highlights the three dimensional singleframe grille and also boasts LED daytime running lights and standard aluminum roof rails. The most affordable trim level will also come with some aluminum exterior elements, LED taillights, a dual exhaust system and a power tailgate. The interior design is already known and we can highlight the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, the second row of seats with a split function, a standard third row that is power foldable and a three-zone automatic climate control system or a panoramic sunroof.
Naturally, just like with any other luxury model, a wide array of optional features will be available, ranging from ambient lighting to a head-up display or a four-zone climate control system. Also available will be the Luxury package that includes Valcona leather upholstery, contoured front seats with ventilation and massage functions and customers can also add to it the Alcantara headliner, power soft-closing doors, a 19-speaker Bose 3D Sound System and a 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound System. One of the most interesting options under the hood of the 2017 Q7 will be the petrol 3.0-liter TFSI six-cylinder engine boasting 333 bhp (248 kW) and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque, mated to the standard Quattro traction system and an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission.
