For luring customers that are already into the Black Friday euphoria, carmakers are offering some price cuts and attractive financing programs.
We all are in caught up in the shopping spree these days, as the annual Black Friday bliss is coming fast. We are checking the online prices, making wish lists and trying not to blow up our budget by buying unnecessary things. We are even lining up outside store’s doors to be sure that we do not miss anything. But what if you want to buy a car? It is hard to believe that customers will make a huge cue at local car dealerships. Nevertheless, auto brands are coming with good deals as they too take part on the Black Friday deals.
“Black Friday programs in the auto industry are notably robust this year,” says Eric Lyman, vice president of industry insights for the vehicle shopping website TrueCar. “Similar to last November, automakers have been getting an early start on Black Friday-themed advertising to keep consumers headed to dealer showrooms.”
All major carmakers are trying to lure undecided customers with attractive offers. FCA’s Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands are all giving zero percent financing for up to 75 months, while Buick, Chevrolet and GMC are reducing their retail prices by up to 20 percent, and Ford is coming up with “Friends & Neighbors” promotion program.
So, how attractive these discounts are? Decide for yourself, as Forbes made a list with such examples.
