Mercedes-Benz USA has made available for orders the all new 2017 C Class Coupe, with prices for the luxurious and sporty model starting from $43,575.
Upcoming owners will get for the cash the entry-level version which uses a rear-wheel-drive setup, with the all-wheel-drive 4MATIC layout being a $2,000 optional extra. The C300 will be treated to a host of goodies inside: seven-inch screen, aluminum trim, Bluetooth, HD radio, eight-way power seats, and a forward collision alert system with automatic braking. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine delivering 241 horsepower (180 kilowatts) and 273 pound-feet (370 Newton meters) of torque. The engine is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission and power is delivered through the 18-inch wheels.
Optional amenities include the Premium 1 package which is $2,300 and brings keyless entry (with push-button start), a 590-watt, 13-speaker Burmester audio system, and a six-month SiriusXM subscription. The Premium 2 package (at $4,500) is even more upscale and adds on top of the Premium 1 a blind spot monitoring system, backup camera, and free map updates for three years. The infotainment system’s display grows to 8.4 inches and includes new navigation and a touchpad. Other goodies include power-folding mirrors, illuminated door sills with “AMG” lettering, ambient lighting, and a remote power-closing trunk. The Premium 3 package (at $7,400) comes with numerous safety and assistance systems: lane-keeping assist, pedestrian detection, automatic high-beams, adaptive cruise control, and traffic-sign recognition. There’s also LED headlights, rear cross-traffic alert, Brake Assist Plus, and a perfume atomizer for the air conditioning system. For $1,190 the Airmatic suspension will bring a smooth ride no matter the road surface and there’s also a Sport package – $1,675 – with customized suspension, aggressive body kit, cross-drilled front brake rotors, summer tires (instead of all-season), and an aluminum pedal set.
