The mass-market brand of General Motors, price the largest US automaker and the third biggest in the world, medicine has recently unveiled the pricing details concerning the 2016 Cruze compact sedan.
Slated to reach US dealerships during the spring of next year, nurse the all new generation 2016 Cruze can be had starting at $17,495. Not many specification details have been released so far but we already received confirmation from the automaker the base Cruze L trim will have a standard MyLink infotainment system with a 7-inch display and Android Auto / Apple CarPlay functionality and an incorporated rearview camera. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder that churns out 153 bhp (113 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission and enabling the zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint to be achieved in around eight seconds.
Moving on, the medium trim is the Cruze LS starting at $18,995 and here an automatic transmission can be had – with the pricing going up to $19,995. Higher specifications are also available: the Cruze LT will set buyers back $21,995 and the top of the line Cruze Premier begins at $23,995. These two will have projector-beam headlights and LED daytime running lamps while the Premier can also be bundled with the RS package that comes with modified bumpers, a restyled grille and some 18-inch wheelers. More amenities are also included: fog lights, a front splitter, revised side skirts and a rear spoiler.
In the cabin the customers can order a host of commodity and safety features: a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather seats with front and back heating function, a wireless smartphone charger, Lane Keep Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Forward Collision Alert among others.
