US: Nissan introduces the Titan XD to its accessories [videos] image

The Japanese automaker has announced the introduction of the full series of accessories for the new Titan XD pickup truck during the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas.

The full range of accessories has been delivered to satisfy the needs of any type of owner – from outdoor aficionados to constructor workers and the list includes anything from a full bed tent to water-resistant seat covers. Other interesting accessories include fog lights, chrome side steps, illuminated running boards, splash guards, a weight-distributing rear hitch, or a lockable rear seat cargo organizer. There are also bespoke options such as a tool box that can slide forwards in a bid to deliver an easier access to the tools or backwards to make way for extra cargo space. The Titan XD can also boast boxes mounted in the bed that can be locked.

All the accessories are already available for order at the US dealerships and will include a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty given that installation is handled by a dealer when they are acquired. This mandatory procedure can be a drag for the owner but fortunately the accessories don’t have to be paid separate – they can be included into the cost of the vehicle for financing purposes. The Nissan Titan XD has been officially up for grabs for a month now with prices starting from $40,290 – under the hood the model packs a 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8 engine delivering 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque.
