Pricing for the 2011 BMW X3 is set at $36, 750 for the xDrive28i, which features a 240 horsepower motor; and $41,050 for the xDrive35i, which is powered by a 300 horsepower, turbocharged six-cylinder engine.
These prices do not include an $875 destination fee. The six-speed manual option is gone, replaced with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. Those looking for even more performance can spring for the new Dynamic Handling package, which includes Driving Dynamics Control and Performance Control.
Although BMW hasn’t broken out all of the standard equipment, the company does tell us that there’s more of it now, including iPod, USB, and Bluetooth connectivity and an alarm system.
Produced exclusively at BMW’s newly upgraded Spartanburg, S.C. factory, the new X3 will be supported by a state-of-the-art ordering and manufacturing system.
