US pricing for the 2017 GMC Acadia starting at $29,995 image

The truck-oriented company has recently introduced the 2017 Acadia during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and now the brand has returned with further details, including pricing.

The model will be priced from $29, 995 and has been scheduled to reach US dealerships this spring. The 2017 Acadia is actually priced more competitively than its predecessor – it’s $1,905 cheaper and packs a new design with massive grille and sleek LED-infused headlights. Its crossover credentials are supported by the plastic body cladding, rakish beltline and customers can choose between 18- or 20-inch alloy wheels. The flagship Acadia Denali is also brimming with chrome that adorns the front end including grille and other tidbits, such as the door handles. Additional standard equipment is also present, including a new IntelliLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, while most versions also have a third row to accommodate up to seven persons inside.

There are two powertrain choices to be made: base 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 194 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque and the 3.6-liter V6 producing 310 hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. The only transmission choice is an auto six speeder and the all-wheel drive system is optional. The top of the line Acadia Denali AWD will go from $47,845.
