Jaguar-Land Rover confirmed the MSRP for the new Range Rover Evoque. The 2012 Range Rover Evoque will start at $43,995, including an undisclosed destination fee.
The baby Range Rover easily outmatches the LR2’s measly EPA ratings of 15/22 mpg with an impressive pair by any comparison: 19/29 mpg. In fact, both the weight and the fuel economy are bests for any model the company’s ever sold in the States.
The two- and four-door Evoques share the same exterior dimensions. At 171 inches long, the Evoque is in very small luxury crossover territory; it’s about the same size as the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
Evoque, not due in showrooms until September or October, is off to a good start. More than 70,000 people have requested information on it and 85% are new to Land Rover, says McCullough.
