The used car market is full of gems – quite literally – since you could buy a handful of diamonds instead of the very cool track-only Aston Martin Vulcan that is being offered by a dealer in the US for an astonishing $3.4 million.
Last year we showed you pictures with the first ever US-registered Aston Martin it appears the starting price for a “second hand” has now gone up a cool $1.1 million. This Fiamma Red unit has no details like the mileage, though we imagine not many have been clocked since it was delivered to the dealership just a few months ago. And before that since it was only designed for the track we can’t imagine it clocked too many laps on the world’s tracks without us seeing it.
The Vulcan has been labeled as the automaker’s “most intense and exhilarating creation to date”, with the model serving as an alternative to equally compelling cars such as the Ferrari FXX K and McLaren P1 GTR. Unlike the other two competitors, which use a hybrid powertrain, the Vulcan is old-schooled to the bones: naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V12 engine delivers more than 800 horsepower.
