The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, has recently taken delivery of its brand new ride, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Spec Bolt.
The newest ride to enter Usain Bolt’s garage is the 2014 Nissan GT-R Spec Bolt, as the model has been recently delivered to the Jamaican athlete. According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Spec Bolt has been based on the 2014 GT-R with a customized design, created by Bolt himself.
“Nissan has delivered a special GT-R, bathed in exclusive gold paint, to Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt in appreciation for his contributions as a Nissan brand ambassador for GT-R. Bolt, known as “the world’s fastest man,” has been promoting the company’s brand awareness in association with the Nissan Global Brand Campaign, which kicked off in April 2012 and has been running in markets around the world ever since”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The carmaker and Usain Bolt have also teamed up in order to create the GT-R finished in gold, which was auctioned for charity. The model managed to raise 187,100 USD (142,835 EUR) for the Usain Bolt Foundation, which is promoting educational and cultural opportunities for children and young people in Jamaica, Bolt’s home country.
