The newest creation to be signed by German tuning company VATH is an upgraded version of the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200.
Do you happen to be the owner of a Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 and think that your ride needs more than this? Well, cheap if so, we have some good news for you as the German tuner called VATH has recently worked its magic on such a model. The compact crossover is in the GLA 200 trim and it has received the stainless steel sports exhaust system, which can boost its performance by up to 5 – 8 percent, priced at 1,690 euros. The braking system has also been upgraded and VATH is asking 390 euros for it, while the stainless steel axle back valve exhaust system, with oval end pipes, will be setting you back for 2,890 euros.
Under its hood, the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 is carrying a 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine which, in standard, is capable of producing a total output of 156 HP (115 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque but thanks to the tuner it is now coming with 184 HP (135 kW) and 310 Nm (228 lb-ft) of torque. The upgrades come at 850 euros and another 200 euros is the cost of the installation. A tuning cannot be complete without new wheels and VATH knows this as it has added the 18-inch black multi-spoke alloys, with tires. These upgrades are already available for order and the prices mentioned above don’t include the VAT.
