Vauxhall has released the very first sketches with the so-called Adam Rocks Concept, which is previewing a crossover version of the model.
According to the car manufacturer, the Vauxhall Adam Rocks concept is coming with a 15 mm raised suspension and it has a 20 mm wider stance. The model is also getting body cladding on the wheel arches and on the bumpers, skid plats on the front fascia and rear end and a central exhaust tip. The most important part of the Vauxhall Adam Rocks Concept is its fabric retractable roof, which will eventually be adopted by the regular version of the model.
“With even bolder design than any other Adam, the Rocks shows the vast potential for personalisation our stylish urban-chic newcomer offers. It combines the toughness of a crossover with the coolness of open-air driving”, said the lead design director for Vauxhall / Opel, Malcolm Ward.
The Vauxhall / Opel Adam Rocks Concept will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The model is expected to receive a production version. Additional details on the Adam Rocks Concept are limited for the moment and will be announced on the 5th of March, during the Swiss automotive event.
