Vauxhall has announced the official pricing list for the new generation of the Astra in the United Kingdom.
The 2016 Vauxhall Astra is getting ready to arrive in the United Kingdom where the cheapest version of the model will start from 15,295 GBP. The compact car is 49 mm shorter, 26 mm lower and it has a 23 mm shorter wheelbase than its predecessor, riding on the GM D2 platform and saving between 120 kg and 200 kg of weight. The car manufacturer says that at the time of its exact launch, which will be in September, no less than 7 trim levels of the Astra will become available.
The Tech Line will be coming with leather wrapped steering wheel, satellite navigation system, leather steering wheel and several other goodies for a 775 GBP premium, while the Energy models are coming with heated seats and steering wheel, they are lacking the sat-nav but adding the 17-inch alloy wheels for 17,295 GBP. The SRi starts from 17,895 GBP and it is bringing the wi-fi hotspot, OnStar 24 hours emergency assistance, front camera, leather steering wheel, sports seat and more. Vauxhall says that the SRi Nav variant is coming with the 8.0-inch touch screen navigation system while the range-topping Elite model can be yours from 19,315 GBP and it will be adding the full leather interior, the folding side mirrors, the electronic climate control, 18-way adjustable front seats, heated rear seats, two more USB sockets in the rear and more.
