The British based automaker Vauxhall is planning to launch a 400 BHP version of the Insignia as a flagship for the VXR performance brand sometimes in the near future.
Even if there is no official word on a 400 BHP Vauxhall Insignia for the moment, the guys at autocar.co.uk are saying that such a version of the model is very possible and it’s actually expected to hit the market sometimes in the near future. According to our source, the Vauxhall Insignia with the impressive 400 BHP will use the 2.8 liter V6 engine from the VXR version, which will be pushed to its limits.
Besides the impressive output developed by the 2.8 liter V6 engine, the Vauxhall Insignia with 400 BHP will also get a series of changes to its suspension system, braking system, steering system and more, and the model is expected to get a new body kit with a more aggressive front and rear designs than the ones found on the current Vauxhall Insignia VXR. These updates will eventually be translated onto the Opel Insignia too eventually and the high performance version of the model will become available across the Old Continent. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on this subject but we will keep you updated.
