[VIDEO] 2012 BMW 3-Series design

The German based automaker BMW has just released a video where the design of the 2012 3-Series is being explained step by step.

After being officially presented this autumn and going after that through its launch on different auto markets and ending with different versions of it being spied, the new generation of the BMW 3-Series is continuing to fascinate us, proving every time that it’s a piece of engineering fitted with the latest technology. As you can see from the video posted below, BMW has interviewed Karim Habim, the company’s head of exterior design, Christopher Weil, the 3-Series exterior designer and Christian Bauer, the 3-Series interior designer, and the three of them are talking about the design process of the model.

As a reminder, the new generation of the 3-Series sedan has been priced at $35.775 in the United States for the entry-level version, while the 2012 BMW 335i will start at $43.275, which is about $1.100 - $1.200 over the last E90 3-Series sedan, being also larger and more spacious than the model it replaces. The German based automaker has downsized its engines for the 2012 model which is also helping the company to save some money on the production line.
