The online social sites like Facebook and car manufacturing seem to go hand in hand and rather than help some photographers make a lot of money from pictures taken to the new Focus ST, Ford decided to release a video along with a few words, and where else to present it than on Facebook.
“Our Facebook page allows us to reach out to enthusiasts around the world for the first time and share with them the final stages of development of the new Focus ST as it happens. This is Ford’s first truly global performance vehicle, and social media gives us a rare opportunity to show enthusiasts how this car is progressing, gives insight into its technologies and builds excitement in this community as we finalize Focus ST’s technical specifications”, says the automaker.
The new generation of the Focus ST is expected to be launched sometimes next year, but figures like its performance or price remain unknown for the moment. We have to admit that automaker is “looking at the future” by releasing this video on a site which actually has more active users than Ford’s customers.
