The Japanese based automaker Toyota has decided to promote its “new” Camry generation more in the United States by releasing a commercial video which was made by the Saatchi & Saatchi L.A. advertising company, where the sedan is supposed to be the central pillar of company’s sales in the US.
“’It’s ready. Are you?’ The campaign demonstrates how the seventh-generation model addresses changes in consumers’ vehicle needs, expectations and driving habits through the combination of new innovations and improvements to interior and exterior styling”, as the Toyota official statement says.
The 2012 Toyota Camry has been priced in the US at 23.260 USD for the LE four-cylinder, the version most people buy, which is $200 less than the 2011 model year, while the high-end XLE four-cylinder is down $2.000 to 25.485 USD.
The commercial below says that the new generation of the Toyota Camry can do 40 mpg but a more realistic number is about 35 mpg. The 2012 Camry is expected to hit the US showrooms in November, with a hybrid version following in early 2012.
