Audi has released a new video with the 2013 A3, detailing the model which has been officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.
Even if the new generation of the Audi A3 is already available for its customers across Europe, that doesn’t mean that the German based automaker can stop the marketing campaign which “boosting” its sales, and what better way to place the model into the spotlights one more time than by releasing a new video with it. The 2013 Audi A3 is coming as a three-door version for start and the model has been made on the new MQB platform (Modular Transverse Matrix), the same one which will underpin future Volkswagen models, including the next generation of the Golf.
The 2013 Audi A3 is 4,237 mm long, 1,777 mm wide and 1,421 mm tall and the starting price of the model in Germany has been set at 21,600 euros. The new generation of the Audi A3 is available with only three engines for the moment, the 1.4 liter TFSI petrol, which will be offered as an entry-level with 121 HP and 200 Nm of torque (148 lb-ft), the 1.8 liter TFSI with 177 HP and 250 Nm of torque (184 lb-ft) and the top of the line 2.0 liter TDI diesel, with 148 HP and 320 Nm of torque (236 lb-ft).
