Audi has released a new presentation video for the 2013 A3 hatchback, which has already been launched on several markets across Europe.
The new generation of the Audi A3 is 4,24 meters long, 1,77 meters wide and it rides on a wheelbase of 2,60 meters, while its height has remained unchanged compared to the previous model. The boot capacity in the 2013 Audi A3 has increased to 1,100 liters with the rear seats folded and the model has also lost some weight, 80 kg. The new generation of the German hatchback is being offered with a choice of three engines, the 1.4 liter TFSI with 122 HP, the 1.8 liter TFSI with 180 HP and the 2.0 liter TDI with 150 HP.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Audi A3 has been officially presented to the public in March at the Geneva Motor Show and the model is wearing the 2013 model year in its name. The new Audi A3 is the first vehicle to use the MQB platform (Modular Transverse Matrix) which will also underpin more future models like the future generation of the Volkswagen Golf. Audi says that the three-door version will be the first one to make its appearance. Prices for the 2013 A3 start at just over 25,000 euros in Europe.
