Auto Express has recently put together two of the hottest roadsters of the moment, the new BMW M6 Convertible and the new SL63 AMG.

If you have a bank account with approximately 100,000 euros in it and you’re a petrol head than you’re in the right place because once you will see the video posted below you will probably head off to the BMW or the Mercedes-Benz dealership near you and order yourself a brand new roadster. The guys at Auto Express have recently put the 2013 BMW M6 against the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG and what came out of that can be seen right after the jump.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 engine which is producing 529 horsepower. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds with the AMG Performance Pack and it’s returning 28.5 mpg while emitting 231 g/km of CO2. On the other hand, the 2013 BMW M6 Convertible is getting a 4.4 liter turbocharged V8 unit, generating 560 HP. The bimmer can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in exactly the same time as the Merc, 4.2 seconds, but that time is achieved in the Coupe, because the Convertible takes 4.3 seconds to get from a standstill to 100 km/h.
