The new generation of the Ford Fiesta is once again placed into the spotlights with the help of an official video which was recently released by the car manufacturer.
After making its world debut as a concept car not too long ago and then revealed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new generation of the Ford Fiesta is finally here, getting ready for its future customers, and what better way to promote a small hot hatch than by releasing an official video with it. The 2013 Ford Fiesta ST is coming with an aggressive body kit, made out of a trapezoidal grille, rear diffuser and a tailgate spoiler, while the cabin has been fitted with Recaro sport seats, carbon fiber trim, alloy pedals, sport steering wheel, SYNC infotainment system and a “sound symposer” which is able to filter the most attractive engine noises from under the hood.
The 2013 Ford Fiesta ST is equipped with the new 1.6 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which is producing 178 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque (177 lb-ft). The hot hatch can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than seven seconds before reaching a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph). The new generation of the Fiesta ST will arrive in Europe in 2013 and more details on it will be announced close to its launch.
