[VIDEO] 2013 Ford Fusion gets new promo, jumps off a cliff for real image

The North American based automaker Ford has recently released a new promotional video with the new Fusion generation, showing the model as it jumps off a cliff.

Ford says that a new Fusion model has jumped off a cliff for real in this new commercial and the model had its seat welded to the floor, the airbags removed and extra weight has been added to the back in order to balance it. The Fusion in question has been jumped off a ramp with Hollywood stunt driver Garvin Cross and all went well. The video can be seen below, right after the jump. Enjoy!

As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Ford Fusion can be bought in the United States from 21,700 USD, shipping included, for the S entry-level version, while the EcoBoost Titanium will set you back for 29,995 USD. Ford says that all versions of the Fusion will get front-wheel drive as standard, while the 2.0 EcoBoost can be ordered with an optional all-wheel drive system for an extra 2,000 USD. The Hybrid will go on sale this year from 27,495 USD.
