Mercedes-Benz has recently released a video where the new generation of the SL-Class roadster takes its first drive.
After the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL leaked in a brochure and right after that some official images hit the internet and they weren’t released by the German based automaker, Mercedes has decided to release an official video of the R231 where the model is being driven, moving it closer to its future customers. The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL has the suspension setup borrowed from the SLS, an aluminum chassis and many more interesting things, which is translated into a faster, more agile car.
Even if the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has already leaked twice, first time in a brochure and second time in some official images, and now a video of the roadster has hit the web, the German carmaker is still keeping stuff like the performance figures, engine range, fuel consumption and trim levels a secret, but as the roadster is leaking more and more, we expect some official details about the features above to surface in the nearby future. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will be officially presented on January 9, 2012, at the Detroit Motor Show, and the German based automaker will definitely announce all of its specifications at the North American event.
