The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG has great exhaust sound and the video posted below is the best proof.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of a video find on YouTube which is revealing the exhaust sound of the German roadster. The new generation of the SL63 AMG is coming with larger air intake pockets into the front bumper, LED daytime running lights, four trapezoidal exhaust tips and a new design on the grille.
Under the hood, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is powered by the familiar M157 twin-turbocharged 5.5 liter V8 engine, which is generating a total output of 529 horsepower. The car company says that the new SL63 AMG is actually 110 kg (242 pounds) lighter than the version it’s replacing, thanks to the all-aluminum bodyshell and magnesium components, which are helping the 0 to 62 mph acceleration time (4.2 seconds with the AMG Performance Pack). The fuel consumption in the 2013 SL63 AMG is 30 percent lower, at 28.5 mpg and CO2 emissions stop at 231 g/km.
