The world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr has been recently invited to pull the wraps off the 2013 Mustang RTR.
According to the North American based automaker, the RTR accessories for the Mustang are available at Ford dealerships across the country. Ford says that the accessories were developed with Classic Design Concepts and can be offered either as a packager or individually. The 2013 Mustang RTR is getting body stripes, front lip spoiler, redesigned side skirts, a rear diffuser and 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high performance Falken tires. The vehicle’s handling has also been improved with adjustable shocks, sway bars and springs, along with a rear chassis brace.
The 2013 Ford Mustang RTR is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, the standard unit, but thanks to a revised ECU, sports exhaust system and a K&N air filter, the engine is now developing an extra 25 horsepower and 81 Nm of torque (60 lb-ft). The RTR Spec 1 is priced at 6,250 USD and this includes the appearance package, except for the rear diffuser and side skirts, while the RTR Spec 2, priced at 11,995 USD, includes the full appearance package, the sports exhaust and the suspension package.
