The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently released a new promotional and teaser video for the new generation of the Pathfinder, which will wear the 2013 model year into its name.
After being officially presented to the public in concept form at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the new generation of the Nissan Pathfinder is already getting ready to meet its future customers, but until that will happen, the crossover is currently being tested in Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming. As you can see from the video posted below, the engineers of the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder took the model off-roading, through creeks and into snowy terrain, in order to make it better than its predecessor.
The new generation of the Nissan Pathfinder will be powered at first by a 3.5 liter V6 engine which will be mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which will help it become one of the most fuel-efficient seven-passenger model on the market, according to the automaker. The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is expected to hit the showrooms in the United States this autumn and the crossover will ride on an unibody architecture. More details on the new generation of the Nissan Pathfinder will be announced close to its official launch.
