The upcoming 2013 Porsche Cayman has been recently caught on camera while being tested on public roads in Germany.
After being officially announced to make its public debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of this month, the this time with the “help” of a spy video, which is revealing the sports car while being tested on public roads, in Germany. Whenever hearing about spy videos and Germany we are used to think on the Nurburgring, but the new Cayman has actually been caught on camera in a district of Stuttgart.
Rumors are saying that the 2013 Porsche Cayman will get a similar design to the 2013 Porsche Boxster and this won’t be the only thing shared by the two models because the engine lineup is also expected to be borrowed from the new Boxster. If this will happen, than the 2013 Porsche Cayman will get a 2.7 liter unit with 261 HP (195 kW) under its hood, along with the more powerful 3.4 liter engine from the S version, which is producing a total output of 311 HP (232 kW). Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
