[VIDEO] 2013 Renault Clio RS spotted testing on the road

The new generation of the Renault Clio RS has been recently spotted on the road where the model was being tested.

After it was officially presented to the public during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the 2013 Renault Clio RS is ending up in our news once again, this time with the hot hatch being caught on camera while being tested on the road. Two version of the new generation Renault Clio RS will be produced, the Sport and the Cup, with the last one being 15 percent stiffer and with a 5 mm lowered ride height. The Clio RS 200 EDC is getting 320 mm ventilated brake discs on the front axle and regular brake discs in the rear.

The old 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine found in the old version has been swapped for a 1.6 liter turbo in the new generation, which is producing a total output of 200 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 240 Nm, available between 1,750 rpm and 5,600 rpm. Three driving modes are available with the RS Drive, the Normal, the Sport and the Race, and in “Race Mode”, transmission can change gears in just 150 milliseconds.
