Toyota has recently released the first teaser video and images with the 2013 RAV4, ahead of the model’s debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show on the 28th of November.
The Japanese based automaker Toyota says that the upgraded RAV4 has been designed to make you “fell good” and it’s promising to rewrite the rules of style. The 2013 Toyota RAV4 seems to have a front fascia inspired by the new Camry, with angular headlights and a slender grille. An updated version of the current platform is expected to be used for the new RAV4.
“Toyota will stage the world premiere of the all-new 2013 RAV4 crossover SUV at a press conference at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The press conference will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 9:00 a.m. (PST) at the Toyota exhibit space in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center”, as Toyota says in its official press release.
The engine lineup of the 2013 Toyota RAV4 is expected to be carried over from the outgoing model and this means that the 178 BHP 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, along with the 3.5 liter V6 with 268 BHP, will make their way onto the new model. A choice of FWD or AWD will be offered to the future owners of the 2013 RAV4. More details on the model will be announced at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show.
