Volkswagen has released the first promotional video with the new generation of the Golf 7, which is more like a cliché than a real promo.
After it was officially presented to the public a couple of days ago for the first time, the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf, the MK7, is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of an official video which has been released by the German based automaker. The 2013 VW Golf 7 is riding on the MQB platform, which made its debut on the new Audi A3 back in March in Geneva, and also the same one which will underpin future models made by the Group.
Volkswagen says that the new generation of the Golf is now 4,255 mm long, 2,637 mm wide and 1,452 mm tall, which means that it’s 56 mm longer, 59 mm wider and 28 mm shorter than the outgoing model. The interior space in the 2013 Volkswagen Golf has also increased by 14 mm for the front passengers and by 15 mm for the rear seat occupants, which is translated into more legroom. The new Golf 7 will be offered in three trim levels, the Trendline, the Comfortline and the Highline. More details about the new Golf here.
