The Japanese based automaker Acura has recently released some driving footage with the brand new 2014 Acura MDX.
After it was officially presented to the public during the 2013 New York Auto Show, in a premiere, the final production version of the 2014 Acura MDX is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing some driving footage with the model. The 2014 Acura MDX has an angular front fascia, a sloping roofline, new LED headlights, tailgate mounted spoiler, chrome accents and some other tweaks, which should make it more appealing to its future customers.
The cabin of the 2014 Acura MDX is getting metallic and wood trim, leather seats with climate control, rear-seat entertainment system, two digital displays, upgraded audio system and automatically folding and sliding forward second row of seats. Power to the model is being provided by a 3.5 liter V6 unit, generating 290 BHP (216 kW) and 362 Nm (267 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. In AWD, fuel consumption stands at 18/27/21 mpg in city/highway/combined and at 20/28/23 mpg with FWD. The 2014 Acura MDX will go on sale across the U.S. this summer.
