Bentley has recently released a new teaser video with the upcoming 2014 Continental Flying Spur, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
While Rolls-Royce is “playing” with its Ghost Wraith Coupe these days, its main rival, Bentley, is also making its own game and it’s teasing an updated version of the Continental Flying Spur. The model in question is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, officially, and this means that it will hit the production line, and eventually arrive in dealerships, later on this year, probably in the summer.
The newest creation coming from the brand is named the 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur and it should have an evolutionary design, copying the GT and the GTC, along with some higher quality materials, a new infotainment system and some other tweaks, which have the hard job of attracting new customers.
The engine lineup is expected to be carried over from the Continental, and this means that we will probably see the 507 HP (373 kW) and 660 Nm of torque (487 lb-ft) 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8, the 575 HP (423 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft) 6.0 liter W12 and the more powerful 6.0 liter W12 with its 625 HP (460 kW) and 800 Nm of torque (590 lb-ft). The 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur will be unveiled on the 20th of February, and it will make its public debut in Geneva, next month.
