The new generation of the BMW M3 has been recently spied while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
BMW is working hard on developing the new M3 generation and before it will arrive in the company’s dealerships across the globe, and into your driveways, the carmaker is currently testing it intense. The newest spy video is coming from the Nurburgring and it’s showing the new BMW M3 generation in action. The footage posted below is also providing a good engine and exhaust sound, so those of you who were looking for this will be glad to have found it.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 BMW M3 is expected to replace the 4.0 liter V8 engine with a 3.0 liter six-cylinder twin turbo unit, which should produce a total output of 450 HP, 30 HP more than the previous generation. The torque figure will stand at 550 Nm, 150 Nm more, and it will be available from 2,000 rpm. The model will also weigh 100 kg less than the outgoing version. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is expected to be done in 4.3 seconds and top speed should stand at 250 km/h (155 mph). The model will be unveiled in Los Angeles, by the end of the year.
