The German based automaker BMW has recently released the first presentation videos with the new generation of the X5.
The 2014 BMW X5, the F15 as it has been codenamed, is coming with an evolutionary design, with optional adaptive headlights, with a more prominent front grille, LED ambient lighting in the cabin, Poplar Grain wood trim or Aluminum Hexagon trim freestanding iDrive display, gloss black accents and more. The cabin is getting an improved design and it’s adding heated and ventilated front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, Harman Kardon or Bang & Olufsen audio system, rearseat entertainment with two displays and even a third row of seats.
The engine options in the new BMW X5 generation will include the 4.4L V8 with 450 HP and 650 Nm of torque, in the xDrive50i, allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds while burning an average of 10.5L / 100km, the xDrive30d, with its 3.0L TwinPower Turbo, with its 258 HP and 560 Nm of torque, and the M50d, with the 3.0 liter six-cylinder tri-turbo diesel, producing 381 HP and 740 Nm of torque.
