BMW has released a new promotional video for the 2014 X5 in Romania, in which the popular SAV is being shown in a different light.
The new generation of the BMW X5, which has been officially presented to the public last year, back in May, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a new promotional video. The clip posted below is showing the 2014 BMW X5 in a rugged light but keep in mind that the true purpose of this car is to take your kids to school safely and to carry your groceries from your local supermarket.
The 2014 BMW X5 is available with a 4.4 liter V8 engine, for the xDrive50i, with 450 HP (330 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes 5.0 seconds in this version and top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph). The xDrive30d is getting a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder unit under its hood, producing 258 HP (190 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque while the X5 M50d is getting a 3.0 liter six-cylinder tri-turbo diesel, producing 381 HP (280 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque.
