The cabin of the model is getting a digital instrument cluster, a new center console, improved seats and the IntelliLink infotainment system, amongst others. The model is also getting the new Ultra Luxury Package, adding the synthetic suede accents, Shadow Tamo Ash wood trim or semi-aniline leather seats.
The facelifted LaCrosse is also coming with the Automatic Collision Preparation, Rear Cross Traffic Allert, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Change Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert and Safety Alert Seat, amongst others. Two engines are available for the 2014 Buick LaCrosse, the 2.4 liter four-cylinder with 182 BHP (136 kW) and 233 Nm of torque (172 lb-ft), “helped” by an electric motor with an extra 15 BHP (11 kW) and 107 Nm of torque (79 lb-ft), or a 3.6 liter V6 with its 304 BHP (227 kW) and 358 Nm of torque (264 lb-ft). Both units are coming with the six-speed automatic transmission and they can also get the AWD system. The “new” LaCrosse will go on sale in the U.S. this summer.
