The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been caught testing on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
The video in question, which is showing the most extreme version of the Camaro ever produced, has been most likely filmed before the model’s official presentation during the 2013 New York Auto Show, a few weeks ago. The 2014 Camaro Z/28 is getting an aerodynamic body kit with new side skirts, flared fenders, front splitter, rear diffuser, prominent spoiler, underbody paneling and more. the model has also received 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo tires and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.
The cabin of the model is getting Recaro sport seats and a flat bottom steering wheel. As for the engine used on the track car, we can tell you that this is a massive 7.0 liter LS7 V8, which is good for “at least” 500 BHP (373 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. The unit is mated to a six-speed Tremec transmission. The braking system is provided by Brembo and it has ceramic brake discs. The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will become available at dealerships across the U.S. over the following months and it will go on sale in spring 2014.
