The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently released the second teaser video with the new generation of the Corvette, ahead of the model’s public debut at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit.
Being scheduled to be officially presented to the public next year, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the next generation of the Chevrolet Corvette is entering our news once more, this time with the carmaker releasing the second teaser video with the sports car. The footage posted below is revealing a few glimpses of the model but, in the end, it does exactly what it suppose to do, which is to be a teaser video.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette will be powered by the company’s new 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 450 BHP (336 kW) and 609 Nm of torque (450 lb-ft). This should be enough to allow the sports car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 4 seconds, and return 26+ mpg on the highway (US). Additional details on the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette are limited for the moment and will be announced early next year, during the North American automotive event.
