The first video showing the new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray getting assembled has recently hit the web.
Ever since it has made its world debut during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, back in January, we’ve managed to learn just about everything about the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray generation, and one thing we didn’t get to see until now was its assembly line. Well we can “check” this on our list because thanks to a new video uploaded onto YouTube, we can finally see how the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray comes to life, so if you want to see part of this process, all you have to do is scroll down and click play.
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is quickly becoming a very popular muscle car in the United States as its waiting list can even turn out to be close to 6 months. The model is taking its power from the 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 450 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). The unit is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, or a 7-speed manual, which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive. Thanks to this setup, the Corvette Stingray can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.
