Ford has recently unveiled the 2014 Transit and the 2014 Transit Connect, which will go on sale in late next year.
According to the North American based automaker, the Ford Transit has been designed in order to replace the E-Series on its local auto market and the model will be available with multiple roof heights, multiple wheelbases, new chassis cowl versions, different roof heights and a wide range of body styles. The Ford Transit is coming with a choice of either front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and even all-wheel drive, and these options will definitely attract more customers into the brand.
In Europe, the 2014 Ford Transit will get a 2.2 liter Duratorq TDCi diesel engine while in North America, future customers of the model will be able to order a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 unit or a more powerful diesel engine.
The 2014 Ford Transit Connect (Tourneo Connect in Europe) is a passenger vehicle which is adopting revised styling from the Escape / Kuga and, even if no interior images have been released yet, Ford says that the model is getting a stylish cockpit and new driver assistance technologies.
