Jeep has recently released a new official video with the brand new Cherokee generation, showing the model off-roading, ahead of its public debut during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
After it was officially unveiled just last month, when the carmaker has released the first official images with it, the new generation of the Jeep Cherokee, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a new video. The footage posted below is showing the new generation of the Jeep Grand Cherokee while being taken for a quick spin off-road, so if you’re looking into the model than you should definitely scroll down and click play.
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is coming with a design similar to the facelifted 2014 Grand Cherokee and the model is getting some plastic body cladding, a unique design for the hood, chrome trim, slender headlights and a new front grille. Jeep didn’t release any technical details on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee just yet but rumors are saying that the model will get a 2.4 liter TigerShark four-cylinder engine under its hood and a 3.2 liter V6. Diesel lovers can choose between the 2.0 liter or the 3.0 liter units, which will make their way under the hood of the European version. Additional details on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee are limited for the moment and will be announced in New York, on the 27th of March.
