Ralph Gilles has recently went for a spin on the Austin track in Texas in the brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The Chrysler Group vice president of design and the SRT CEO, Ralph Gilles, likes the driver’s seat more than he likes to be in the rear with a glass of champagne in his hand and the footage posted below is proving just that. The Chrysler official has recently went for a spin in the brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the new Circuit of the America’s in Austin, Texas, and what came out can be seen in the video posted below.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has been officially unveiled in January 2013, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model is coming with the same 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 470 HP (350 kW) and 630 Nm of torque (465 lb-ft), mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. The model has a restyled front fascia, a new rear bumper, a modified tailgate and LED taillights, amongst others. The cabin is getting a 7-inch color TFT, a new steering wheel and gear lever, a 5- or 8.4-inch touch screen display and more. Prices for the model start at 62,995 USD.
