Maserati has recently released the very first video presentation of the all-new Quattroporte generation, which was unveiled just a few hours ago.
After releasing the very first images and details with the sixth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte just a few hours ago, the carmaker is placing the luxurious model into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a first official video which is revealing the vehicle from just about every angle. According to the car manufacturer, the new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte is using a new steel monocoque chassis and rumor has it that the model will grow in length from 5,052 mm to 5,200 mm and it will lose 50 kg from its kerb weight, which will remain at 1,940 kg.
At the time of its launch, the sixth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte will get a 4.7 liter V8 engine under its hood, developed by Ferrari, which will produce a total output of 453 BHP. The unit will get improved fuel economy and lowered CO2 emissions and it will be mated to an XF automatic transmission. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte but the model will be officially presented to the public at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit and during the event, the company is expected to tell us more on the model.
