Mercedes-Benz says that the facelifted E-Class is coming with new and innovative technology, some of which will be used on the future generation of the S-Class. The model is also getting revised four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines.

This model will be followed by the E250, which will get the same unit, tuned to produce 208 HP (155 kW). The E200 CDI will be the next one in the lineup and this variant will get a 2.1 liter four-cylinder unit under its hood, producing 134 HP (100 kW). The E220 CDI will put down 168 HP (125 kW) while the E250 CDI will get the same engine which will develop 201 HP (150 kW). The E250 will produce 248 HP (185 kW) out of its 3.0 liter V6 engine as for the most powerful version, the E63 AMG, we know that this will get a 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 engine under its hood.
