The German based automaker has recently released a new teaser video with the 2014 S-Class, in which the luxurious model is being teased.
The new video with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is following the teaser images released by the carmaker, the spy photos taken over these past few months or the brochure which made its way onto the web just a few hours ago. The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will get the Burmester sound system, panoramic sunroof, illuminated door sill plates, wood/leather steering wheel, LED ambient lighting, two 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and for the COMAND infotainment system, Active Seat Belts, Night View Assist PLUS, Air Balance Package, Magic Body Control system and much more.
As for the engine lineup, the S350 BlueTEC will get a 3.0L V6 diesel under its hood, which is good for 258 HP (190 kW) and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft). The model will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and it will reach a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The S500 will use a 4.7L V8 with 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 4.8s in this version. The S400 Hybrid will receive a hybridized 3.5: V6 with 306 HP (225 kW) and 370 Nm of torque (273 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint will take 6.8s in this variant. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be officially presented to the public on the 15th of May.
