The brand new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG has been recently spotted while being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburging.
The German based automaker is planning to develop the most powerful version of the S-Class yet, which will be named the S65 AMG. The model in question is not ready yet for its future customers but in order to make sure that everything is in its place and working just like it should, the company is currently testing it on the Nurburgring, as the video posted below is showing.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG will be powered by a V12 engine, which is rumored to get 6.0 liters in displacement. The total output is believed to stand at 630 HP (463 kW) and the peak torque at 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). The twin turbo engine will be mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in the new S65 AMG should take approximately 4 seconds. The average fuel consumption will stand at 11.6 L / 100 km (24.3 mpg UK / 20 mpg US). The model’s first deliveries will start in March, 2014.
