The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has recently released a new promotional video with the 2014 Outlander in the United States, which is showing some of the features of the model.
After it was officially presented to the public, almost a year ago, during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show in November, and then brought to a lot of automotive events across the globe, the Mitsubishi Outlander, in its new generation, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video. The footage posted below is aimed towards the United States auto market and it’s highlighting some of the features of the mid-size SUV, including its off-road abilities.
The new generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander is 200 pounds lighter than the previous version and it also lost an inch in length. Exterior changes include the wraparound taillights, the new front grille, the raised beltline, the chrome trim and some other tweaks. Safety systems available for the vehicle include the adaptive cruise control, the lane departure warning system and the forward-collision mitigation. Optional features include the new Rockford Fosgate stereo system. The Outlander can still seat seven passengers.
