The 2014 Nissan Qashqai has been officially unveiled just a few hours ago. The second generation of the model has received a completely new exterior design, which some might call with South Korean crossover influences. The vehicle is getting features like the LED infused headlights, the Active Grille Shutter, the tailgate mounted spoiler, metallic accents in the cabin, gloss black trim, the zero-gravity seats, NissanConnect infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen display, internet connectivity and more.
The engine lineup in the second generation of the Nissan Qashqai is made out of two petrol burners and two diesels. The cheapest version will be offered with a 1.2 liter DIG-T, producing 115 HP (85 kW) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque, being followed by the 1.6L DIG-T, with its 150 HP (110 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. Diesel lovers will be able to order the 1.5 dCi, with 110 HP (81 kW), or the 1.6 dCi, generating 130 HP (96 kW). No pricing details have been announced yet.
