The guys at Sport Auto have recently had the opportunity to test the brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S, and the model’s road test has been filmed.
The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S will not go on sale until this September, but that didn’t stop Christian Gebhardt, from Sport Auto, to take a spin in the brand new model. The test drive was filmed and uploaded to YouTube, so fans of the sports car have come to the right place because the footage posted below is showing the model in action and you will also get to see its 0 to 280 km/h sprint.
The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S has LED headlights, camera-based main beam control, 20-inch alloy wheels with hub wheel locks, a deployable rear wing and the same four-wheel steering from the 911 GT3. Power to the brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S is being provided by a 3.8 liter turbocharged engine, with direct injection, which is good for 520 HP (383 kW), mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK. The model has stop/start function and the average fuel consumption stands at 9.7L / 100km (29.1 mpg UK / 24.2 mpg US). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.1 seconds and top speed stands at 318 km/h (198 mph). The Turbo S will go on sale from 195,256 euros in Germany.
